In Transit

March 4, 2019

“So much of the city is in our bodies.” – Anne Michaels

How do we understand the life of our own bodies? Are we able to witness the movement and the ideas contained in it? How does one see more deeply into our mundane day to day existential movement?

In Transit, though its non-verbal dance-theatre performance, examines the representation of systemic and subjective movement in contemporary cultural looking at bodies in transit. The performance looks at the intensity of the movements & moments we experience on the streets. It senses the physicality in strong and soft tones. It is the journey of constant searching and uncovering that exhibits everything we see around and carry within us that we cannot forget.
