At Nepal International Theatre Festival 2025, we are bridging the gap between tradition and technology with an interactive robotics program in collaboration with Nepali electronic entrepreneurs. This initiative will feature Kaanchi, Nepal’s first humanoid robot, developed by the Robotics Academy of Nepal, showcasing the fusion of indigenous wisdom and modern innovation. Kaanchi will engage with audiences, demonstrating how traditional knowledge has influenced its design and functionality. Additionally, 5 Visitor Service Robots, stationed at key festival locations by Goodwish Engineering, Innovative Ghar Nepal, and Paila Technology, will assist guests with event information. This unique experience will highlight how cultural heritage and technological advancements can coexist, inspiring new perspectives on Nepal’s evolving creative landscape.
