About the Festival
The Pokhara International Theatre Festival, established in 2019, has played a vital role in promoting Nepal’s theatre scene globally. By showcasing diverse performances, workshops, and cultural exchanges, it has positioned Pokhara as an artistic and cultural hub.
This year, the festival is being organized as a parallel event of the Nepal International Theatre Festival 2025, further strengthening international collaboration. With Pokhara Tourism Year 2025 in focus, the festival aims to highlight the city's cultural richness while contributing to its global recognition.
Director's Note:
Since 2019, this festival has played a significant role in establishing Nepal on the international theatre stage. By promoting Pokhara’s cultural identity, we have created a platform for artists from different countries to connect and collaborate.
