विविधताको उत्सव” को मुख्य नारा सहित यही मङ्सिर ०९ देखि १७ गते सम्म (Nov 25- Dec 03) सम्म नेपाल अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय नाटक महोत्सवको दोस्रो संस्करण मण्डला नाटक घर, थापा गाउँ, नयाँ बानेश्वर संचालान हुन गइरहेको छ। यस महोत्सवको आयोजक मण्डला थिएटर रहेको छ भने हाम्रो संस्था डाईभर्स प्याट्रन्स पनि एउटा साझेदारको रूपमा रहेको छ ।
यस महोत्सवमा १४ वटा देशका २१ वटा नाटकहरू प्रदर्शन हुनेछ। हामीले यस नाटक महोत्सबलाई अपाङ्गता भएका दर्शकहरूका लागी पनि पहुँचयुक्त हुने किसिमले सञ्चालन गर्न लागेको जानकारी गराउन पाउँदा हामी गौरवान्वित छौं।
अपाङ्गता भएका दर्शकहरूका लाई नाटक महोत्सवमा सहभागी हुन सहज होस् भन्नका लागी हामीले यो जानकारी तयार गरेका छौं। नाटक महोत्सवको समयमा अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूको लागी निम्न व्यवस्था गरिएको छ।
टिकट मूल्यमा छुट
नाटक महोत्सव भर प्रदर्शन गरिने सबै नाटकहरूका टिकटमा अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूलाई निःशुल्क टिकटको व्यवस्था गरिएको छ । महोत्सवभरका लागि १०० वटा टिकटहरूलाई अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूका निशुल्क लागि भनेर छुट्याईएको छ । यस्ता टिकटहरू प्राप्त गर्न अपाङ्गता परिचय पत्र देखाउनु पर्ने छ भने यी टिकट अन्य व्यक्तिले प्रयोग गर्न मिल्ने छैन।
टिकट अग्रिम सुरक्षित गर्न वा अग्रिम पहुँचको सहयोगको लागि तपाईँले यो फारम भर्नुहुन अनुरोध गरिन्छ ।
नाटक घरको पहुँचयुक्तयताको जानकारी:
महोत्सवका सबै नाटकहरू मण्डला थिएटरको प्राङ्गणमा रहेका दुई वटा हलहरू मुख्य हल र मण्डला स्टुडियोमा प्रदर्शन हुनेछन् । यी दुवै हलहरू ह्विलचियरको लागि पहुँचयुक्त रहेका छन् । यसका साथै मण्डला नाटक घरमा अपाङ्गता मैत्री शौचालय पनि रहेको जानकारी गराउन चाहन्छौँ ।

NITFest 2022 will be organized at two venues: Mandala Theatre Hall and Mandala Studio Hall. Both of these halls are accessible to wheelchair users. We will also provide reserved seating for audiences with disabilities in the festival. If you or any of your team members require special assistance, please let us know at the time of booking and we will assist you.
To enable the participation of deaf audiences, Nepali sign language (NSL) will be provided in some plays, workshops, or other essential programs like the opening and closing ceremonies of the festival.
Following programs and plays will have sign language interpretation:
Audio description is a verbal description of a visual element in a piece of media, typically intended for blind or low-vision audiences. The description is usually delivered during pauses in the dialogue and is intended to provide information about the action, settings, and characters that would otherwise be missed. Audio description will be provided in 1 or 2 plays depending on the festival’s budget.
The following programs and plays will have audio description feature:
Access signage for accessibility is signs that provide information about how to access a particular building or area. Universal symbols of access will be used in different areas of the festival so that all audiences know where they are going.
Large print documents are typically printed in 16-point type or larger. They are designed for people with vision impairments or other reading disabilities. All the printed materials of the NITFest will also have a large print version.
A total number of 100 tickets will be provided to audiences with disabilities to watch various performances. Audiences will be asked to present their disability ID card at the box office to claim these tickets.
An accessible website can be used by people with disabilities. It is designed to be easy to use and navigate and to provide information in a way that is easy to understand. The website of NITFest 2022 (https://nitfest.org) will be designed so that all, including those with disabilities, can use it.
Access support staffs are individuals who provide support to people with disabilities to help them access various services and activities. Nepal International Theatre festival will have dedicated personnel for access support to access needs of anyone. Their task will include guiding audiences through the accessible paths, finding accessible rest room and answering other questions related to festival accessibility.
NITFest 2022 Strategic Partner, Diverse Patterns will lead a workshop during the festival with an expert from the UK (Birds of Paradise, a theatre group based in Scotland) on providing hands-on and practical information to participants so that they can include persons with disabilities as their audiences or artist & crew. The workshop will be 2 hours long, and the participants will be primarily theatre directors, arts managers, and organizers of another similar festival.
