About the Performance:

Poetry is the light of life, connecting us to our roots. Laborers, through their toil across mountains, rivers, forests, and plains, have shaped our civilization. Our land, rich in indigenous languages, lifestyles, and cultures, reflects art in its essence. From ancient times, indigenous knowledge and science have flourished, inspiring our stories and creativity. The colors, scents, and voices of this heritage shape our poetry, making it truly our own.

With this program, we are delighted to invite remarkable poets of our time to the stage of NITFest, celebrating the power of poetry in connecting past and present.

The grand Opening Ceremony of NITFest 2025 will mark the official beginning of this vibrant celebration of theatre, culture, and storytelling. With national and international dignitaries in attendance, the event will set the stage for twelve days of powerful performances, insightful discussions, and cultural exchange. As artists and audiences gather under the festival’s theme, Theatre for Social Transformation: Light of Indigenous Wisdom, the ceremony will embody the spirit of unity, creativity, and the transformative power of theatre.
